Philadelphia Police in riot gear on the first day of protests in Philadelphia following the murder of George Floyd. As the riot police began to charge into the crowd, protesters yelled “white bodies to the front!”. Small, white young women jumped in front of me and linked arms, stopping the police in their tracks. This Photo was featured in the June 22nd Edition of New Yorker Magazine.
